This shoe perfectly combines comfort, traction, and excellent energy return, taking you to the finish line in record time. Despite its generous volume and 30 mm height, the Ultra 100 is an excellent shoe, offering grip and precision from the first to the last kilometer. The 6 mm drop was chosen based on the preferences of elite ultra runners. For the outsole, the designers used a Vibram® Megagrip compound, considered the pinnacle of performance in the racing world. The Ultra 100 features the new Vibram Traction Lugs for the first time. This innovative 4 mm lug concept ensures improved traction and perfect grip, providing safety and precision on any terrain. The comfortable and cushioned midsole provides exceptional lightness while running, while also maintaining low weight and responsiveness. The new material weighs 20% less than a traditional EVA midsole, yet returns over 10% more energy. The anatomical heel construction and Heel Preloader ensure a solid, secure hold and allow for optimal stability and control, while also reducing stress on the Achilles tendon. The rockered shape of the outsole allows for a dynamic and fluid roll, allowing for agile running even in the final kilometers when legs are tired. The Ultra 100 has a classic lacing system, which adapts perfectly to your individual needs.
